What we collect and why

• Enquiry and contact forms: your name, mobile number, optional email and message, so we can reply about the course, training or service you asked about.
• Franchise applications: your name, mobile, email, location and centre details, so our franchise team can assess and process your application.
• Student accounts: your name, email, mobile, date of birth, state, district, qualification and target exam, so we can create your account, check your age, show relevant tests and contact you about your account.
• Parent or guardian details (students under 18): their name and mobile number, so we can confirm their consent before the account is activated.
• Sign-in records: the date, time, IP address and browser of each sign-in, to protect your account and detect misuse.
• Mock test activity (when tests open): your answers, scores and progress, so we can show your results and analysis.

We also record the technical details needed to keep the website secure, such as the IP address that submitted a form.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal data.
• We don't show advertising targeted at students under 18, and we don't track children's behaviour for advertising.

Who can see your data

Only authorised My Digital Guru staff, each limited to what their role needs. Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf to run the website. We share data with others only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open or while we are handling your enquiry or application, and afterwards only as long as we need it for records the law requires. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your name, email and mobile number from it.

Your rights

You can see and correct your details on your My account page, ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account (there's a button on the My account page). You can also withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. We reply to requests as quickly as we can.

Children

Students under 18 can register only with the consent of a parent or guardian. Their accounts stay pending until our team confirms that consent.

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date below.
